Center Bar, Rhumbar and the Lobby Bar have reopened. Other restaurants that have reopened include, Blizz Frozen Yogurt, Heritage Steak, Osteria Costa, Pantry, Paradise Cafe, Starbucks and The Still. The newly opened Snacks All Day Eatery is the replacement for the former Carnegie Deli. Roy Horn died earlier this year, at the age of 75, due to complications from COVID-19. They renamed the street leading into the Mirage Siegfried & Roy Drive, for the magicians that performed at the resort from 1990-2003.
Valet parking remains closed, but they are offering free self parking. The Terry Fator Theatre has been rebranded back to The Mirage Theatre. The Poker Room has been removed and replaced with a Non-Smoking Slot Room.ġOak Nightclub has permanently closed and is now called Capri Lounge. Plexiglass barriers have been added on many table games in the casino pits. One casino pit was removed and replaced with slot machines. The casino has much more distancing between gaming machines. There were several changes throughout the property. Steve Sisolak ordered all nonessential businesses including casinos to shut down to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Mirage Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip reopened to the public on Thursday, August 27.
